General Information • Graduation Requirements
There are four times during the academic year that a degree may be posted to a student’s transcript. A student or college official must file an Application for Graduation either in the Registrar’s office or online at www.midland.edu. Degrees and certificates will be posted only after the student has completed all of the degree/certificate requirements. Please refer to the catalog or call (432) 685-4707 for detailed information.
Graduation with Honors or High Honors is calculated by the Midland College Registrar. The GPA is determined by using only Midland College courses. Graduation with Honors requires a cumulative GPA of 3.5 to 3.99. Graduation with High Honors requires a cumulative GPA of 4.0. The final posting of Honors credit will be determined after all course work has been completed.
