James Liggett—Mr. Liggett did undergraduate and graduate work in Philosophy at the University of Houston and holds a Master of Divinity Degree from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Mass. He is a retired clergyman and has been teaching Philosophy in community colleges for over twenty years.
Dr. John Koyles—Dr. Koyles did his undergraduate work at Palm Beach Atlantic University, received a Masters of Divinity Degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and a Masters and PhD in Philosophy from Florida State University. His first book, The Trace of the Face in the Politics of Jesus, which is a rereading of John Howard Yoder's work in terms of the philosophical thought of Emmanuel Levinas, will be published by Pickwich Publishers in the Summer of 2013.
Philosophy courses are surveys of humanity’s attempt to answer the questions of where do we come from, how we should live, and where we are going. They also help develop rational thought and critical thinking.
