Sonography Program on MC's Online Catalog

Sonography is an allied health specialty utilizing high-frequency sound waves to aid in the diagnosis of disease. Sonographers are important members of the diagnostic imaging team. The sonographer works independently to obtain appropriate images of anatomy and pathology and conveys this information to physicians to assist in the care and treatment of patients.

The Sonography program is designed to provide the necessary education through academic instruction and professional training to develop advanced medical imaging skills and prepare the graduate for employment in the field of sonography
