The Midland College Communication Program offers scholarships to students who are interested in journalism and are recommended by their high school teachers or counselors. The college is uniquely able to award this financial aid through the Allison Journalism Endowment. The scholarship runs for two full years as long as students pursue a minimal set of mass communications classes and maintain full-time student status.
Why Midland College? Midland College offers an opportunity to begin a mass communications college experience the minute a student steps on campus. Students produce copy, photographs and unique page designs for MC’s award-winning newspaper and magazines. MC also eases the transition to the college experience through small classes and one-on-one instruction.
