Students who wish to take concurrent classes through Midland College in the fall semester need to: 1) pass the appropriate THEA test or 2) be exempt from the THEA. It is recommended that a student take the test at the earliest opportunity in the summer, allowing them greater flexibility in scheduling. Before testing, a student must have completed and submitted an application for admission to the Midland College Admissions office.
Please note: If this is the first year a student is taking a dual (concurrent) math course, a math placement test is required by the Midland College Mathematics Department, even if the student is exempt from TSI testing requirements. The math placement test is free of charge and is available on a walk-in basis in the Testing Center.
