The Student Resource Office operates under the Carl D. Perkins Federal Grant. This grant provides assistance to students who have demonstrated financial need and are in technical education programs. The purpose of the program is to help qualified students overcome obstacles that may block their success in or completion of their education. For these students, the following support is available: child care assistance, text book loan, transportation assistance, and tutoring. This support requires application, documentation and/or referral.
In addition to these services for qualified students, the Student Resource Office also offers the following support to all students: study skills seminars, personal and academic counseling, and community referrals to social service agencies.
Please visit the office to see if you qualify for specific help or to get more information on the general help we offer students.
