Recycling Program

Recycling on the MC campus is a joint effort among faculty, staff and students. We are currently recycling paper, plastics, cardboard, aluminum, and printer cartridges. Call 685-4618 for more information.

Collection Update

The City of Midland's Solid Waste Department provides totals for our collections on the Midland College campus, which started in Spring of 2008.

The totals for end-of-year 2008 are:
Plastic - 7,700 pounds (3.85 tons)
Paper (including phone books) - 77,280 pounds (38.64 tons)
Aluminum - 1,200 pounds (0.6 tons)
Cardboard - 25,080 pounds (12.54 tons)

Midland College has recycled a Total of 111,260 pounds (55.63 tons)
