Lawrence sworn-in to fill unexpired Midland College Trustee position March 6, 2008
Mr. Lawrence fills the unexpired Place 3 position previously held by John James, who resigned from the Board earlier this year after being elected to serve on the Midland City Council. The Place 3 term expires in 2010.

G. Larry Lawrence formally became part of the Midland College Board of Trustees Thursday, March 6, upon taking the oath of office at a special Board meeting, held in the Gibson Board Room of the Pevehouse Administration Building at Midland College. The oath of office was administered by Midland County Judge Mike Bradford.
Mr. Lawrence, a Midlander for many years, is an independent professional consultant and President of Crescent Consulting. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Lynx Operating Company. He has also served on the Midland College Foundation’s Davidson Distinguished Lecture Series Committee since 2004. Among those on hand to congratulate Lawrence was Midland College Board of Trustees President Ralph Way (shown in photo, at left).
