Full Circle - October 7
During the 2012-13 academic year, special 40th anniversary banners were hung on the light poles around the campus circle and on Foundation Blvd. to commemorate MC's 40th anniversary. The banners have been removed and cleaned. You can own one for a donation of $100 to to the MC Alumni Association.
Donations will be used for the creation of an MC Alumni Association Scholarship to be awarded to MC graduates who transfer to 4-year institutions.
The banners (Adobe .pdf file) are 30" x 60" and are double-sided. They are made of top-quality vinyl, and all four corners have brass grommets for easy hanging.
MC Director of Alumni Relations J. Don Wallace said, "These banners certainly have some history to them, and they reflect how important Midland College has been to our community the last 40 years. What a great way to show your support to the MC Alumni Association by purchasing one of these banners as a keepsake."

MC Spirit Squad Collecting Water Bottle Caps
The Spirit Squad has been practicing at Legacy Elite Gym for the past four years, and this summer one of the athletes in a different class was diagnosed with Leukemia. She is only 11 years old and her parents are stressed about finances and the all the other burdens that come with this. The doctors have a program that allows her to receive a free round of Chemotherapy for every 500 water bottle caps that she collects. The MC Spirit Squad will be collecting water bottle caps for her to help ease some of the financial stress from her parents.
MC employees are asked to help by collecting water bottle caps. When you have several collected, please contact Ty Soliz, and he will get them.
