- World Wide Web
The information you find might be printed in books, journals, or in electronic form. Materials can be physically located within the LRC's shelves, in remote servers, or within
another library's collection. Moreover, along with books on shelves, search results might include eBooks, CDs of audio books or lectures, DVDs & BluRay of movies or documentaries, electronic files of streaming videos, or electronic files of journal articles to read or print.
The Web is another tool for finding information. Reputable web sites
can be excellent sources of quality and reliable data.
To be successful in Library Research you need to know
how to use all the tools that help you locate, evaluate and access the needed
information. Spending a little time learning about these tools now, will save you invaluable time later when completing your academic work.
