English as a Second Language (ESL)
Midland College offers English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction through the Adult Basic Education Department and the Academic ESL Program.
● The Adult Basic Education (ABE) Department of Midland College offers FREE English as a Second Language (ESL) classes designed to help students with Reading, Writing, and Speaking the English Language.

● The Academic ESL Program offers courses that are designed for speakers of other languages who want to develop their skills in English in preparation for regular college classes. These courses are generally more advanced than ABE/ESL courses and are offered for either college credit or continuing education credit. These courses are subject to applicable tuition and fees.
