Academic ESL
Academic ESL courses are designed for speakers of other languages who want to develop their skills in English in preparation for regular college classes. Prior to enrollment, students are required to take the Compass-ESL Assessment, which is administered at the Midland College Testing Center located in the Scharbauer Student Center. This assessment is free and is used to determine which courses best suit each student’s needs. To schedule a testing session, please contact the Testing Center at 432-685-4504.
