                                                                SET UP CUSTODIAN

                                                                     (2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE)

The position of Set-up Lead Custodian is to assist the faculty, staff and students of Midland College with set-up arrangements for college functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set-up tables, desks, chairs for scheduled functions
• Assist with custodial duties at the Chap Center, the PE building, and assistance on Roadrunner Room restrooms and Chap Center basketball games, also in resurfacing Chap and PE floors
• Follow proper lifting and carrying techniques and be safety conscience
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to understand written set-up instructions in English
• Any combination of custodial, furniture moving and scheduling totaling two (2) years experience required
• Must be able to lift 90 pounds, climb stairs, and operate mechanical equipment
• Valid Texas Class “C” driver license and be insurable on Midland College’s vehicle insurance policy

SALARY:

$1,758.83 per month. Excellent fringe benefits. Position pending budget approval by the Board. Position available

September 1, 2008.
