NURSING CLERK (ADN and Vocational Nursing)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide applicants with information on the nursing program and assist in completing the admissions process
• Provide Registrar/Student Services with lists of accepted applicants for the nursing programs
• Send correspondence/acceptance packets to nursing program applicants
• Provide clerical support for the nursing director and nursing faculty including but not limited to maintaining syllabi and learning material packets
• Maintain nursing student files
• Record minutes at the nursing faculty meetings
• Assist with the planning of activities involving the nursing programs such as advisory meetings and pinning ceremonies
• Other duties as assigned by the Health Sciences Division Dean

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School graduate or equivalent required.  Associate degree preferred
• Two or more years comparable work experience
• Knowledge of equipment to include personal computers, printers, photocopiers, etc
• Required competencies proficient in WordPerfect, MS Word, MS Excel
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent organizational skills and English language

SALARY

$1,774.00 per month. Excellent fringe benefits.
