MANOR PARK CHILD DEVELOPMENT

PT TEACHERS ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist classroom teachers with the care and education of young children
• Duties as assigned by the Director and/or classroom teachers
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of curriculum
• Attend to children’s physical and social needs
• Job requires lifting
• Current TB Test with negative results
• Attend Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) pre-service training

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Early childhood education or continuing education child care training hours desired
• Must like working with young children and have good communication skills
• Knowledge of TDFPS licensing standard preferred

SALARY

$8.00 to 8:50 per hour. Up to 19 hours per week. (1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
