GROUNDS MAINTENANCE I
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the landscape, grounds and parking lots of Midland College as per instructions. Operate grounds equipment and tools, as well as perform basic maintenance and cleaning required to keep the equipment and tools functional. Adhere to all college safety policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED: One year of verifiable grounds maintenance experience. Experience with grounds maintenance equipment and tools, ex: (edgers, trimmers, blowers, mowers (push and riding), chainsaws, and tractors. Must be physically able to lift 75 pounds, operate motorized equipment, climb a ladder. Must have current Texas Class "C" driver’s license and be insurable on Midland College's policy.
PREFERRED: High School diploma or GED.
SALARY
$1,474.08 per month. Excellent fringe benefits.
