FLIGHT LAB INSTRUCTOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Give flight instruction to assigned students as required
• Monitor student solo flights and maintain training folders accurate
• Report any student or maintenance problems to the Chief Flight Instructor
• Document all absences and the reason for the absence if known
• Assist in building maintenance and in keeping hangar open on weekends as assigned
•  Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• FAA certifications including: commercial, multi-engine rating, instrument rating, certified flight instructor, and certified instrument instructor 
• Must have 500 hours total time and 100 hours instructor time 
• Knowledge of Part 141 Flight School procedures
• Must pass standardization flight check with a MC Chief Flight Instructor
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends

Preferred:

• Associate or Bachelors degree
• College teaching experience
• Knowledge of computers
• Multi-engine instructor

SALARY

$36,000-$38,000 per year. Dependent on educational qualifications and employment experience.  Excellent fringe benefits.
