                                                     BIOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach a combination of lectures and labs
• Maintain lab equipment
• Order supplies and develop curriculum
• Oversee the activities of certain labs
• Will be encouraged to teach at least one summer semester each year for additional pay
• Must demonstrate innovative ideas in education

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Biology or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology
• College teaching experience preferred
• Must have exhibited ability to work well with students and colleagues

SALARY

$35,666 minimum starting salary. Commensurate upon qualifications and experience. Excellent fringe benefits. Position pending budget approval by the Board. This is a 9 month position that begins Fall 2008.
