Legacy Scholarship For Current Volunteer Agencies
The Legacy Scholarship is awarded to students attending or planning on attending Midland College. One of the requirements of the program is that participating student must complete 40 hours of community service at an approved Legacy Volunteer Agency.
The program is GENEROUSLY funded by the Abell-Hanger Foundation, the Helen Greathouse Charitable Trust, the Chaparral Foundation, and The Clarence Scharbauer Foundation.
In addition to the amazing funders, this program is not possible without the dedication of our community agencies, so THANK YOU for the time and effort you give to provide our students with a meaningful community service/volunteer experience.
The expressed desire of the Legacy Scholarship funding partners is that the selected agencies provide a volunteer experience for students that will "touch their hearts about the needs of others."
Please keep us updated on "What's New" at your agency ... changes to your contact information, for example. We also want news of upcoming events that could provide service opportunities for Legacy students ... when and where the events will take place, and the duties that student volunteers could perform. Please use the secure online form, linked below.
