Event Chair Alfredo Chaparro announced, "Just like last year, there will be MC booths, college presentations and campus tours. In addition, for the 2013 event, the award-winning documentary "First Generation" will be screened.
Jeanette McNelly, principal of Early College High School @ MC, stated, 'First Generation' is a must-see for all families who want to navigate their way through the college admissions and financial aid process."

State of Higher Education
At the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's 2012 Texas Higher Education Leadership Conference, Commissioner of Higher Education Raymund Paredes delivered the State of Higher Education Address (.pdf file).

The Academic Calendar (.pdf file) has been revised. Spring Interim registration dates have been moved up to coincide with registration dates for the Spring Semester. Online registration for both the Spring Semester and the Spring Interim Semester begins on November 12. Walk-in registration for both semesters begins December 3.
