Trout Fishing in America

Free concert for MC employees and students

Monday, February 11, 2:00 p.m., Allison Fine Arts Building, Wagner & Brown Auditorium
Trout Fishing in America is the long-standing musical partnership of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. The name, taken from a Richard Brautigan novel, seems almost as incongruous as a picture of this musical duo: Ezra Idlet (guitar) stands six feet nine inches and Keith Grimwood (bass), five feet five and one half inches. After three decades of writing, recording and performing together, Trout Fishing in America can look back at a body of work that is impressive and know they are just hitting their stride.

Texas Community College Teachers Association (TCCTA) Annual Convention
February 21-23

TCCTA warmly invites you to the 66th Annual Convention, February 21-23, 2013, at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Houston, Texas! This event is -- by far -- the largest meeting of community college educators in Texas, with more than 2,000 attending each year. Enjoy over 150 programs related specifically to community college educators in the areas of pedagogy, technology, financial planning, and discipline-specific topics. Be sure to bookmark the Convention Page for frequent viewing, as programs are being added daily to this enormously popular event. Remember to avoid the long ″non-member″ registration line by renewing your membership for the 2012-13 academic year, if you have not done so already.  Memberships can be renewed online with a Mastercard or Visa at, www.tccta.org/renew.
