Kudos & Accomplishments
Midland College Cosmetology students gave haircuts and raised $391 in donations for the "Hunt for Heroes" wounded veterans and their families during the NJCAA 75th Anniversary Celebration at the November 20 Chap and Lady Chap basketball games. Enjoy a photo album.
Congratulations to William (Billy) Feeler, dean of Fine Arts & Communications, who successfully defended his doctoral dissertation last week. His dissertation is entitled "Being There: A grounded-theory study of student perception of instructor presence in online classes." Feeler is receiving his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
Congratulations to the Teaching Excellence Awards nominees. Winners will be announced on Thursday, January 10, 2013.
