The Computer Graphics program at Midland College is designed to provide students with the necessary skills to succeed in the exciting, challenging, and ever-changing world of computer graphics. The computer graphics industry is an extremely versatile field. Some of the employment possibilities within computer graphics include: architectural firms, surveying firms, sign companies, compressor manufacturing companies, oil and gas companies, engineering firms and more.

Starting pay for a beginning draftsman is very competitive ranging from $8.00 to $14.00 per hour.

Midland College Computer Graphics students have an outstanding job placement record. Recent certified and graduate students have accepted employment with the City of Midland, architecture firms, surveying firms, local sign companies, vessel design companies, compresor manufacturing companies, oil and gas companies and engineering firms.

After completeing the Associate of Applied Science in Computer Graphics degree, students have the skills to work in a variety of fields including:

Architectural Drafting and Design
Machine Drafting and Design
Topographic Drafting
Pipe Drafting
3D Modeling
Electronic Publishing
