Programs & Services

The Midland College Adult Basic Education (ABE) program assists students and members of the community with English as a second language, citizenship, and GED preparation. There is no charge for these classes. All ABE classes require pre-registration. Cogdell Building

The Midland College Business and Economic Development Center (BEDC) promotes economic development in the community by providing comprehensive management, financial, and technical assistance and training to small businesses, entrepreneurial ventures, and non-profit organizations in the form of seminars and free, confidential counseling.

Bill Cogdell Scholarship

Midland Need to Read is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting adult literacy in Midland County by providing trained volunteer tutors for adult leaners. The tutors work with learners, individually or in groups, to reach their personal literacy goals.
