Whether your goal is to read better, get your GED, learn English, or earn a certificate or degree from Midland College, Cogdell can help you get started. Cogdell Learning Center also houses the Business and Economic Development Center which provides free counseling and technical assistance and training to small businesses, entrepreneurial ventures and non-profit organizations.

Established in 1992, the Cogdell Learning Center and the scholarship in his name were made possible through the generosity of Bill Pace Cogdell, a local businessman whose wish was to help residents of South and East Midland pursue a college education.
