Midland College and the Midland Arts Association are hosting the 32nd Annual Fall Juried Art Exhibition in the McCormick Art Gallery, October 16 - November 13, 2009.
An opening reception will be held in the McCormick Art Gallery at the Allison Fine Arts Building, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on
Friday, October 16.
The show will feature pieces selected for the exhibit by a juror, who will also designate Best of Show, Merit Awards and Honorable Mentions. This year's juror is Craig Varjabedian, a fine art photographer, who lives in New Mexico. He exhibited at Museum of the Southwest in the past year. His most recent exhibit, "Ghost Ranch and the Faraway Nearby," is currently at the Albuquerque Museum of Art. A book of the same title was recently published.
