COLLEGE CLASSICS is perhaps the most interesting of all Midland College classes to area senior citizens. The program, which was initiated in the spring of 1989, includes a series of courses designed especially for local residents who are 50 and older.
Classes are offered through a registration fee of just $25.00 per semester. Payment of this fee entitles the student to enroll in as many classes as he or she chooses. As a special service to the students, for which the program is designed, the classes are scheduled between 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. The fall semester consists of two sessions and three sessions will be offered in the spring semester. Most sessions are for four weeks. |

The instructors of COLLEGE CLASSICS are recruited from among the Midland College faculty, continuing education teachers and community volunteers. With their areas of expertise and years of experience, these teachers truly bring to life such subjects as American Indian, Investments, Handwriting Analysis, History of China and Computer Basics to name a few. The generosity of these instructors allows the college to offer this unique program to a special segment of the community.
Schedules for COLLEGE CLASSICS are available in the Midland College Continuing Education office, the Chamber of Commerce, and both Midland County Library locations each January and September.
