Networking Breakfasts
The Midland College Business and Economic Development Center (BEDC) began hosting monthly Networking breakfasts in 1991 to offer owners of small businesses and minority owned businesses the chance to network with purchasing representatives of large companies and other business owners to exchange information and learn of business opportunities. The breakfasts are now co-sponsored by the Midland Chamber of Commerce, the Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, UTPB SBDC and the Buzz to Bucks. The program format includes special guests from government agencies, civic organizations, and Chambers of Commerce. The breakfasts are the third Tuesday of each month in the Scharbauer Student Center Carrasco Room at Midland College. All attendees are given the opportunity to give a short infomercial about their business. There is a $1 charge for the breakfast.
