The #8 Midland Chaparrals finished their pre-conference schedule with a 10-1 record after two quality wins over the weekend. 

On Friday, the Chaps won a hard fought victory a good Navarro team 74-67.  Forward Kavon Lytch led Midland with 21 points and 8 rebounds while Freshman guard Bryant Evans chipped in 11 points in the victory.

Against Lon Morris on Saturday, the Chaps were led by Brad Kelleher's 20 points and 5 assists, Greg Hill's 19 points on 7-12 shooting from the floor and Kavon Lytch's 19 points and 7 rebounds en route to a 99-84 MC victory.  The Chaps open up WJCAC play at home against Howard College this Wednesday, December 3rd at 7:30 pm.
