In a game that promised to be a physical affair, the #8 ranked Midland College vs. Howard College game lived up to that billing. Both teams were called for a combined 51 fouls which disrupted the flow of the game considerably.
Midland College, spurred by the scoring of Brad Kelleher (19 points) and David Terrell (15 points), emerged victorious in a 74-66 wrestling match. Adrian Van Buren led the Chaps with seven rebounds. With the win the Chaps improved to 11-1 on the season and 1-0 in conference.
