Midland College basketball is pleased to welcome to its men’s staff, Raymond L. Griffin.  Coach Griffin comes to MC after working as the assistant high school coach at Bolton High School in Alexandria, LA for one season.

Griffin was born and raised in Dry Prong, LA where he graduated.  He participated in football and basketball, lettering two years in each sport. 

Following his high school graduation, Griffin enrolled at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, LA.  There he served as the student manager for the men’s basketball team for two seasons.  Griffin graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in General Studies in 2006. 

Griffin is a eager and hardworking young coach who should have a distinguished coaching career in the future.
