A newcomer to the MC men’s basketball staff is Coach Jamaal Greene.  Coach Greene is a native of Freeport, Bahamas where he graduated from Coconut Creek High School in 2000.  Greene won gold and silver medals for the Bahamian Junior National basketball teams in 1998 and 2000.   

After receiving his high school diploma, Greene enrolled at Northwest College, WY where he played basketball for two seasons.  He enrolled at Arkansas Tech University in 2003 where he played one season.  He transferred to and concluded his college basketball career at Harding University, AR in 2005.  Greene worked as color commentator for NBA-TV covering NBDL games in 2005 and 2006.  Coach Greene earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Management as well as a Master of Science in Kinesiology, both from Harding University.
