On Saturday, the #3 Midland College Chaparrals (5-0) won their first true road game with a strong 80-59 win at Weatherford College. 

The Chaps defense was strong from the tip holding a good offensive WC team to 35% shooting from the floor for the game.  

Midland had a balanced offensive scoring attack led by Jonathon Simmons (6'6 SO Guard) who contributed 15 points.  Jordan Walker (6'6 FR Forward) scored 13 points and dished 7 assists and Kenny Moore (6'6 SO Forward) also had a great all around game with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. 

The Chaps are off from action until this Friday when they host the two day Midland College Classic at the Chaparral Center.
