Midland College and MC Athletics welcomes to its coaching staff, David Coleman. Coleman, a native of Lubbock, TX, has been hired as head coach of the Midland College baseball team replacing co-interim head coaches Rene Barrientes and Hector Rodriguez. |

Another new member of the baseball staff is Assistant Coach Hector Rodriguez. Rodriguez is a native of San Antonio, but completed his high school years at Corpus Christi Carroll High School. Following his high school graduation, he continued his playing career at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he was an outstanding pitcher. |

Midland College Athletics welcomes Ryan Mummert, a native from Seattle, Washington to its baseball coaching staff. Mummert is a 1999 graduate of Kennedy High School in Seattle where he played both baseball and football. While at Kennedy, Mummert was on the Kennedy baseball team that won the 1999 state championship. |
