The MC Chaparral Baseball team returns to their home field Wednesday, February 8, when they host Ranger College in a double-header, 3:00 p.m. at Christensen Stadium.
The MC Lady Chaparral Women's Basketball team returns to their home court Monday, February 3, when they host New Mexico Junior College, 5:45 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center.
The MC Chaparral Men's Basketball team returns to their home court Monday, February 13, when they host New Mexico Junior College, 7:45 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center.
The MC Lady Chaparral Softball team returns to their NEW home field Thursday, February 16, when they host Trinidad State Junior College, 1:00 p.m. on the MC Main Campus. Come at noon for lunch, and a field dedication ceremony.

Congratulations to MC women's basketball coach Ron Jones who recorded his 500th collegiate coaching victory in a 65-60 contest with the New Mexico Junior College Lady T-Birds in Hobbs, NM, during the 2011 WJCAC Preconference Tournament.
Jones, who began his college coaching career at Western Texas College in Snyder, opened this season with a 491-138 record. The 2011-12 season marks his 20th as a college coach (two seasons at Western Texas College and 18 at Midland College).
Jones, the all-time winningest basketball coach at Midland College and the only head coach the Lady Chaps have ever known, currently sits at 506-143 (.780) in his career. He has also amassed an impressive 472-116 (.802) record, in this, his 18th season at Midland College

Over the years, many of Midland College's Chaparral and Lady Chaparral student-athletes have been named All-Americans by the National Junior College Athletic Association.
