Financial Aid Pro Rata Refund Policy:
In accordance with the Federal Higher Education Amendments of 1992, first time enrollees receiving federal Title IV aid will be refunded for a complete withdrawal of all classes according to the following scale:

25 % - 16th through 20th class days

25 % - 6th and 7th class days

In cases where the college's state mandated refund policy differs from the federal Pro Rata Refund Policy for first time enrolled Title IV students, the larger refund will be granted. The non-refundable fees of not more than 5% or $100 shall be retained by the college from the refund amount. Priority Order of Refund Distribution:
1. Federal Pell Grant
2. Federal SEOG
3. Other Title IV Programs
4. Other Federal Aid Programs

Appeals:
Students may make a written appeal for an exception based upon their individual circumstances. The appeal should be made to: Director of Financial Aid.
