Awarded to undergraduate Texas residents
who graduated from a public or private high school no earlier
than the Fall 1998 and: has completed the recommended or distinguished
high school curriculum; has financial need; if applying for
first award, has a financial need; has completed the FAFSA;
is enrolled in at least three-quarter time in a degree or certificate
program and receives the TEXAS Grant within 16 months of high
school graduation; and has not been convicted of a felony or
crime involving a controlled substance. Student must
have a final high school transcript on file with the registrar's
office. |

| Texas Educational Opportunity Grant (TEDG) |
Awarded to undergraduate Texas residents
who: has financial need; if applying for first award, has a
family contribution of no more than $2,000; has applied for
financial aid assistance; is enrolled at least half-time in
the first 30 hours of an associate's degree or certificate
program; and has not been convicted of a felony or crime involving
a controlled substance. Student must have a final high
school transcript on file with the registrar's office. |
