The purpose of the Arts Department is to meet the individual needs of those students pursuing professional art degrees and careers and of those students in the community who wish to explore their interests and talents for their own enjoyment and fulfillment. Students who intend to earn an advanced degree are encouraged to plan their program carefully to meet the requirements of the senior college or university to which they intend to transfer. The courses listed below are suggested for students who wish to receive an associate degree at Midland College and transfer to a four-year college. An official degree plan should be filed the semester before graduation; please contact the Dean whose name is listed above.
