Bad Weather Notification Process

On bad weather days, Midland College will make a decision whether to remain open, close, or delay classes. However, because driving conditions may vary by geographical area, students have the right to make their own determination regarding whether or not it is safe for them to drive. They will not incur unexcused absences, nor be held responsible for their inability to come to campus.

Midland College will provide early information for students regarding classes, typically by 6:00-6:30 a.m. You can check one of the following information sources to see if classes will be held, canceled or delayed:
