The BEDC promotes economic development in the community by providing comprehensive management, financial, and technical assistance and training to small businesses, entrepreneurial ventures, and non-profit organizations in the form of seminars and free, confidential counseling.
The Midland Online web portal will provide a first contact point and a home on the Internet for CTCs and other Midland residents. The portal will provide free e-mail and free web pages for individuals. Additionally it will provide web pages or access to web pages for local government, social service, businesses, and a gateway to the Internet.
This service is provided at no cost to the city of Midland and the surrounding community. College faculty members and administrators volunteer their time to assist local organizations.
