Do You Need Computer Classes?Thanks to a grant managed by Midland College, Midland Need to Read has received seven new Dell computers and a printer through the Community Technology Centers program. The purpose of the grant is to increase access to computers and to promote the use of computers to learn. Midland Need to Read was chosen as one of the computer lab sites in the community. As part of the grant, volunteers, and staff attended computer classes to become familiar with the software. We are now ready to share with other volunteers and adult learners in our program.
