Welcome
to the Fasken Learning Resource Center's Online Tutorial for Library
Research Tools.
Library Research is about finding information in:
- books
- scholarly journals
- magazine articles
- newspapers
- World Wide Web
The information you find might be printed in paper or in microform
formats, physically located within the LRC's collection or within
another library's collection. Moreover, the information you find
might be in electronic format such as the TexShare Databases
and eBooks.
The Internet is another tool for finding information. Web sites
can be excellent sources of electronic text, video and audio information.
To be successful in Library Research you need to know
how to use all the tools that help you locate and access the needed
information.
